eg. Can you get STD from giving your partner a BJ?

Do you think spouses who gave STD to their spouse should be considered a criminal?

I mean a spouse gives an STD to his/her spouse after an affair… the spouse who go the disease has no idea his/her spouse had sex with someone else, so s/he sleeps with their cheating spouse, then it’s transmitted.

What are your thoughts on this, do you think it should be considered a crime?

I meant, “the spouse who GOT the disease” yeah I heard that in certain countries, like South Korea, a person can be sued for cheating on their spouse.

Yes, because they are putting the spouses health at risk.

It depends on if they know they have the disease or not. If they knew they had it and gave it to their spouse, they should be considered a criminal for sure, because they ruined someone elses life basically, and it could be something that could kill them, so it should be considered murder.
If they aren’t aware of their condition, I would say maybe, but it really does depend on the people and the situation.

Personally, I think all cheaters should be considered criminals. Regardless if they get infected with an STI and pass it on. however, if my wife or gf gave me an std from cheating on me I would be a criminal. I would kill her and the man she got it from.

Death penalty is the right punishment here, it so fit if she/he gave you life threatening disease like HIV or Hepatitis.

Knowingly giving any STD to a sex partner is ILLEGAL.

California Health & Safety Code 120290: any person afflicted with any contagious, infectious, or communicable disease who willfully exposes him/herself to another person is guilty of a misdemeanor.
